- 8590 making a surprise appearance
-The bastardized Volvo 40 footer #8590 is back on SEPTA property now at Berridge shops to be repainted. Once the work is done, it will be sent back to the bus museum in Hershey. What's most interesting with this bus is the fact the rear scheme of this bus now resembles a New Flyer. The real kicker that is there are no taillights on the rear. Perhaps the reason this bus was sent down to Berridge is because of their expertise with the Volvos though 1984-2000.

- Interesting day of sightings
-
It's been a pretty interesting day in the sightings First it was 8003 on the 21 to kick things off. Plus there were sightings of 81xx on the 17/G throughout the day. So far, 8131, 8136, 8138, 8147, 8149 were reported on the route 17. It's uncertain what is going on, but to say the least it's interesting.
Here's the real kicker: 7233 was reported in the yard at Victory!!!
As soon as we get information on these interesting assignments, we keep you informed.
we keep you infomed.

- Southern/Callowhill Swaps
-According to Front5151 on the boards, the unusual swap of buses between Southern and Callowhill is because the 2008 New Flyer buses have passenger counters installed on them. Most of the hybrids on loan has been reported to operate on the Route 17. This is not the first time when buses were purposely assigned to a route due to passenger counters. Back in 2004, 5591 and 5592 were assigned on a daily basis onto 124 and 125 these routes because they counters installed. ( kman4life05)
