    • Be on the look out-

      4581 has been reported at the victory by a very reputable member of the group. Be on the look out for 4581, its likely that 4581 is the replacement of the late 4539 which was retired due to massive fire damage to the front.

    • Collision-

      Two SEPTA regional rail trains collided head-on in Abington Township on Saturday afternoon, injuring 38 people, two of them suffered severe injuries. The two trains collided at about 3PM on the R2 single track section just one mile south of the Crestmont station. It is unknown what exactly went wrong but its likely to be a man made error

    • Bus Presents on the Rt. 15-

      AS noticed there has been an extremely large of amount of buses being used on the route 15. More interest enough the buses that are being used on this route are loaned to Callowhill from different depots. #5357, 5382, 5386, 5390, 5394 and 5400 has all be spotted on the route 15. Expect more buses to be loaned out as the EI is set for a 10 day shut down this week.

    • New Light Rail Line-

      New Jersey transit is set to opened up the Newark light rail line next week. The Newark light Rail will be making its debut on July 17th 2006.  The route will connect with the existing Newark-Penn Station and Newark-Broad Street Station making it easier for passengers to commute.     • Afterlife for Neoplans-As mentioned before rabbit transit has purchased 3 Ex-SEPTA Neoplans. These buses are being used for a Hospital shuttle out of Harrisburg. Photos has been taken, major thanks to Michael B and taken by Doug D.

    • Shuttles in progress-

      During the next week, SEPTA will have four shuttles in progress for at least the next week. Here's a break down of the list:

      Route 11 trolley line shuttle which will use mainly nabi's from both Southern, and Callowhill driven by Elmwood's finest.. It is slated to continue from June 19th through the summer.

      EI shuttle shuttle which will be Bus Substituted from 40th street to 69th street for 10 days. Which will mainly use buses from Southern, Midvale, and Callowhill, with loaners from Comly and Frankford with a few runs being thrown in solely by those two deports mentioned. The shuttle is expected to continue until July 24th 2006 at 5AM.

      R5 Shuttle - On the Doylestown branch,  Buses will substitute for midday trains, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. between Lansdale and Doylestown Stations. The shuttle buses are operated by frontier. For more information.. http://www.septa.org/travel_advisory/shuttle_busing.html

      Talking about a crazy week, not to mention the R1 airport shuttle yesterday which mainly used hybrids (DE40LF) which are based out of the Southern depot.
