- Board voted NO to trackless trolleys in South Philadelphia
-This past week the SEPTA board rejected the order of the additional 28 trackless trolleys to be deliver at Southern in 2008. So it looks like the 29, 79 will stay bus for now on. Which is pretty much the case for SEPTA not wanting to expand their fleet.. (van2006ko)

- Route Changes ahead
-Effective Sunday, November 12, 2006. The Following routes will receive the following changes: Route 61 EXP will become the Route 62 using the existing expressway routing, route 9 will be extended to Ridge and cathedral avenues. Which it’s an extremely bold move for SEPTA that a bus will make a U-Turn from Henry Ave onto Ridge Ave, last but not least, the Route 35 which will revert back to the neighborhood circular it originally was a few years back.
